Photonics Guy, how long would you estimate it will take to complete the final optimizations in order to get these 50Gbs beta-proto devices in customer hands?

PG, excellent technical summary of the lab tour and specs. The tour was worth the 2 day trip as I have a whole new appreciation for what the engineers and scientists have accomplished. Seeing each step of the process and seeing the 50G modulator demo was amazing. This team at Lightwave Logic has accomplished what the big boys have spent hundreds of millions and still at least 1 year behind. This is what Dr Lebby and Dr Leonberger mentioned as we walked the state of the art facility. Thanks for sharing your technical summary.

Also a low vpi will enable them to eliminate a component, I think he said it would knock off $100, I can't remember what it's called that's right down your alley though perhaps you could elaborate, that was me standing across from you when you were talking to Lebby about that. I find it best when I'm outside of my element to just be thought of as an idiot than to open my mouth and remove all doubt thanks for your expertise.
