My son is 19 and knows all about UFC/MMA and the players involved. So do his buddies.

He's not a fighter(or a jock) I just hope he's not too much of a lover LOL!

Stockster5, on the flip side to your concern, I have a 24 yr old son-in-law who can tell you whose fighting who, when, where and who will win. We live by a very large Indian Casino in Idaho, and guess when the busiest nights of the year are, you guessed it 'Fight Night'. One last view point, I was at a sports bar not to long ago, the fights were on and so was major leagues baseball, guess what all the men were watching....the Fights! I'm not concerned at all!

I still have friends at universities and colleges all over the northwest. Not only do they watch UFC they also like Pride and MMA. EVERYBODY we hang out with, and party with watches it on some level and 2 houses had parties for the latest Tito vs Shamrock fight.

UFC will overtake BOXING very rapidly by popularity, whether TFN gets all the glory is yet to be determined. They need to act before another network steels their luster. BODOG.com is even entering the UFC arena. In all reality the Owner of BODOG should buy BKMP. He's a billionarie who makes BRANDS work !!!!

In conclusion, the SPORT is GROWING ultra FAST.... period !!!

stockster: you must have polled a bunch of pu$$ys. MMA is the fastest growing sport in the US, and the PPV's have been astronomical. This weekend check the numbers for the Fedor fight on Pride's live debut in the US. This is only the beginning for the sport. BKMP on the other hand... well, they have a good product, but they finance it with shares. But the concept is there, and the channel is doing great for 1yr.

FWIW I run into ppl quite often that are big time into the fights!! I seldom bring up the topic because those that are into it bring it up. The 5 guys in my dept. are into it, what are the chances of that. I'm sure if I did a poll at work there would be quite a few, I work with about 1500 ppl. Plus do not forget the stats of last weeks fight, trust me this thing is HUGE and will grow exponentially once TFN is here in the states!!!

A few months ago I was watching some fights. My wife stops and says what is this, this is cool and sat down and watched with me!! I said it is "UFC" it is MMA. She was raised in a house with 5 brothers who were into wrestling and of course boxing. So to see it all "mixed" up was something she thought was cool!! I was taken back to say the least to think she would be into it. :)
