Unofficial, un-professional poll by one guy with 6 senior hockey teams (age 20 - 60) and I got depressingly shot down. Before my Sunday hockey game, I went locker to locker and actually got every ones attention (embarrassingly) and asked if anyone had ever watched UFC …. 3 guys…. out of 60… I asked if anyone ever heard of Canadian TFN. Nope. But I expected that… didn't expect only 3 guys watch UFC. These are a wide range of professional people from all over the metro Detroit, Michigan area. Most of these guys run their own businesses. They can afford any sport and have season tickets to everything. I even asked if their sons or daughters watch fights….. I said c'mon it's on espn for cripes sakes…. Now, I hold my shares,, and want to see TFN make it in the states…. but this is really pissing me off… and scares me because if I can't find any one watching ufc in this glob of sports nuts, how is TFN going to crack this nut. I get excitied watching espn, listen and start believing their hype then this crap slams me. Do some math, multiply by 1000 and unofficially I only get 3000 out of 60,000 people. That's a small city…

And, watching UFC, the more stupid showmanship like WWF the less serious I take it. Take the circus out of it and go back to regular programming…
