This was in regards to a trade protest where at open AT was asleep at the wheel. Etrade had their bids in - someone at .01 I chatted with, and AT was asleep and my .0351 bid GTC from 10 minutes prior to close (it goes away at the end of the day then appears the next day- eventually LOL) was never represented. This happened 1 second after open - LOL. A different stock than BNXR. Since they weren't going to give me my shares on that trade I used the money and got BNXR - once I knew
IMO it is stupid how AT has their trading bids/asks not represented in a timely manner, completely and totally ridiculous.
Today when it did not matter the AHs opened right on time, seems to be a rarity however.
It is sad market regulators don't properly govern markets to create a situation where ALL BROKERS and MARKET MAKERS are required to present ALL BIDS and ASKS of their customers by at least between 5 minutes to the bell and the opening bell. FINES if they are not in by market open.
One can only wonder why such an advanced market can be so inept!
