I hear you Simps. No, I do not have any troubles with any of those things like bridges and bottles... anymore! I have gotten free from all those things a few years ago. There was a time when I was a practicing raging alcoholic who was spiritually sick and unpredictable. Now, I actually help others who care to get free from all that like I have.
I know - - what does this have to do with BIEL and this board?
In the message I wrote that concerned you, I was just passing on some concern and experience for those who were getting all bent out shape because things did not happen exactly the way they wanted, needed, EXPECTED them to go. One of the bigger problems I used to have was unrealistic expectations and when they did not happen, I usually drank myself to oblivion. It was probably not appropriate to get into all that, but I was just telling people to chill and not allow mismanagement of expectations take you down emotionally. Not everyone is a recovered alcoholic like me, I realize, but I understand now that one of central problems to anyones healthy mental well-being is when things don't happen the way you dreamed they would. And one must guard from that and always have a mental contingency. Like, ok, maybe we did not get news today, was it realistic for me to expect news today? No. Was I 100% certain there was going to be news today? No, but I dame-well wanted there to be. Ok, get over it. Laugh at yourself for being like such a baby. Go do something else.
Hope that makes a semblance of sense. I was just seeing some people set themselves up for trouble...but not everyone is a recovered alcoholic like me either. I digress.
