Smoking will decline as more options become available.
Delivery methods that produce the same effect without all the smoking paraphernalia will gain in popularity IMO.
Ingestion can take too long at times, so I started looking for other methods and found some info on Nano-sphere transdermal (nasal) delivery. (Nanosphere Health Sciences Inc). I like the concept and the convenience. They also have a patent on the process, and have entered the cannabis market among others.
Do you know of any process/companies that offer a delivery method that could directly replace smoking?
