Mcfish, we know photon always moves at the speed of light within a vacuum and photons constantly move around without interfering each other. In order to utilize said properties, somehow some sort of "control" are needed.

For example, waveguide is used to let photon temporarily bounce around its walls, thus gain a little time needed for downstream or upstream devices to adapt.

This are just my understanding from readings, right or wrong I don't wrong. However I based on those reading gambled a lot of money on LWLG shares.
