IMO The Terminology Is Off
There are basically land use PERMITS (from California City)
and California State MJ cultivation/production/testing/transport LICENSES (from the State of California)
Since California City no longer has any limitations on the type of mj land use permit - the application process really isn't as "competitive" as MCIG wants things to sound. Basically, anyone who meets CC's land use guidelines will receive the proper permits.
Not sure what is holding back pps, but in reality revenues from sales of MJ isn't going to happen anytime soon. My guess is between 1.5-2 years away....
so, that $20 mil/yr projection for mj sales isn't gonna happen anytime soon.
There will be delays in construction, and in every other process involved with cultivation, processing, testing, packaging, selling.
