Your study says nothing whatsoever about the benefits of some analysis and research on specific stocks in deciding whether or not to hold through earnings. You're saying that due diligence is totally worthless when it comes to earnings ! I totally disagree.

In other words, you're saying that a monkey throwing darts at a list of stocks will have the same results as somebody doing extensive DD. That's just plain silly !
