I don't think paying out a cash dividend costs nothing. Therefore I am sceptical about a monthly dividend. Another reason is that hardly any company pays a monthly dividend I think.

If SIAF pays 5 cents per quarter in a cash dividend and the pps is $ 2 the dividend yield is 10 %. If the cash dividend is the same and the pps is 4 dollars the dividend yield is 5%. I prefer the latter.
