ks "The goal should be a steady yield of 10%, but ideally never decreasing." The goal should be that the dividend yield should decrease as much as possible. A high dividend yield implies a low stock price in relation to the dividend.

If SIAF pays 5 cents per quarter in a cash dividend and the pps is $ 2 the dividend yield is 10 %. If the cash dividend is the same and the pps is 4 dollars the dividend yield is 5%. I prefer the latter.
