Great post limey! I want you to know that during some recent leisure time I spent with G we had a long convesation about this very issue. He made the point to me that it(shorting) was disgusting and a crime no doubt about it. But like you said who is to blame? If it is not regulated then what is going to stop it? G said it best and I quote " I dont understand why the SEC doesnt do a bit more about it there has to be a way. I would be willing to do anything to stop this kind of crap from happening in all companies. HE also said the shorters were a bunch of white collar thugs that are using public companies for interest free loans to themselves that typically get paid back for less than they took in the first place because the mms are manipulating the price so much. It's stealing, plain and simple. They are no better than hoods on a street corner mugging old women." We should all put pressure on our own goverment to stop the good old boy wink wink crap. Thats true. The good news is, RMDG is becoming closer and closer to a better less vulnerable position in its marketplace on the company side. We are about to kick the shorters and manipulators in the teeth my brothers! Make sure you wear your timberlands!!! While we are at it lets put a good boot in their ass too. Scumbags. I hate them..........LOL

Knowledge is key, content is king.

Thanks, I especially like this statement:

"the Indian, German, British & Japanese stock exchanges have just decided to go on the T+0 system, rejecting the Wall st model. that means ZERO tolerence of FTD's all trades must be settled same day. i.e. ZERO naked shorting. pretty soon the U.S. market will be isolated i.e. the only corrupt market around"

realmuzikplayer - Giorgio told me the same thing about the manipulation and shorting.
He also mentioned that he was planning to do something to correct the situation. This was several months ago!

IMO he should create a new umbrella company,
and have everyone turn in their shares for new shares of the umbrella company.
That would force all the naked shorters to buy up shares they don't own.

Of course, a pr on sales/revenues etc. would also go a long way to generating interest in the stock and create buying pressure against the shorters.
