Good thinking, that is probably a lot more direct path w/fewer direct AVXL resource needs for process management support. Nice. Similarly, I thought his choice of a dementia scope/focus in the LUND PD trial was clever. Will such a choice provide a simpler planning protocol PD trial structure while still allowing for other future pt. CNS Regen and Recovery? If there were a string or sequence that one could select to assess CNS Homeostasis cellular restoration as a continuum then he may be doing that, IMO. I have no way of knowing that but the sequential thinking suggests itself. First address and measure PD dementia, then follow other PD symptoms. All the best.
