I am thinking about the trillions that will be repatriated from overseas that need a safe place to park. For instance, a number of countries are buying our Treasury that pays a meager 2% first to finance our debt so that we can import more, but more because the U.S. is a safe place to park their money. Even rogue countries have money deposited in the U.S. and risk being sanctioned and frozen. Why? Because it is safe.

And so KKR and JPM and Citi, all the big guys, have access to other big guys with trillion that needs a safe place to park their money. What is better than MBS and Reit as long as it is not used for financing risky loans. NSM is a FNMA loan company and will not engage in risky loan business. All the rich guys need a safe place to park their money and not necessarily high interest rate but risky.
