in truth I think it is more likely that Liquidmetal is a material whose time just has not yet arrived. In order to become a profitable business other industries need to find it not only more desirable , but cheaper and more in demand by their customers. To date it has not yet met those thresholds.
Liquidmetal could very well be a victim of the "if it works, don't fix it" adage. If I'm wrong it is simply another example of poor management and salesmanship.
