On what planet does the FDA put the health of the people first?

What we deserve are rigorous clinical trials with data that the FDA finds compelling and approvable. Anything less is a disservice to all Americans who depend on prescription medications for improved health. If we destroy trust in the system by making unproven drugs available willy nilly to desperate patients, we will all be worse off. People can trust that the drugs they take are safe and effective (for most people most of the time) because we have rigorous standards with a very high bar.

The FDA has a lot of 'splainin and house cleaning to do. I doubt that international healthcare agencies hold it pr any part of the U.S. healthcare system in high regard.

This chart makes it clear that we've been on the wrong path for a long time. Links below.

It is indeed interesting how the new FDA approach to AD changes things and how the Big Pharma moves the focus from mild and moderate AD to “prevention”. This is accomplished though the device of doubtful biomarkers. If one realize that medicine distinguish the cause from symptoms and this has been perennial concept in its history then AD at this time is just a collection of symptoms but the MOA is MIA (pan intended). If I am not wrong the mouse model creates AD “sick” mouse by injecting plaque into its brain. A2-73 cured these mice in general. Then let’s extended our horizon by pointing to the fact that in 30% patients after death there is no plaque. Some healthy people do have plaque. This conundrum

That's if the government is footing the
Bill! If I am buying my own a2-73 than I should be able to make that decision!

If everything reasonably tested appears safe ,, than exclude the wild cards but let the rest of us have access now!

Until then..

DM is a S1r and there are many anti inflammatories.. not recommending anyone do anything .. just pointing out that Anavex may be a great combo.. but maybe a lesser combo will still help..and if someone were so inclined they would not need to ask
anyone for permission.. would they?
