it all stems from a previous belief that it had to be wrapped up within 10 years but that belief was shattered some time back from some email exchange one of the posters here or on BP had with the FDIC. I can't recall who that was now. moot either way there is no requirement for escrow status to be finalized good or bad within 10 years. :-(
