PennyStalker, I understand the bargaining chip idea but I don't see how he loses any power by saying simply "we met the 20k and are going to Hawaii". How does that give away any power when the prospective client doesn't know what the actual number is?

My own belief is that on 3/7 when he said he 'thinks' they will blow past the numbers that the actual number was around 13,000 and that at the end of the qtr it was maybe up to around 15,000. This is just my guess and those are damn good numbers - but I think Rory being the optimistic man he is was thinking they could get there or very close. Some think the actual number is much less but I would have a real hard time with what Rory said if that is the case.

Steam mentioned 2 big sellers due to that. That's a good point - we can talk about mms and shorters and manipulation and it does seem to exist (Alpha article example along with plenty of sentiment change here when the 10k came out), but it works both ways. The stock went up due to some great news getting disseminated.

It just as easily can go down when expectations aren't met. We see it time and again in this stock and every other stock on the OTC. Support your investment but we gotta be realistic here. The stock price isn't up to you or me ultimately. It's up to the company. They have to produce or the market will punish the price. Sure traders and manipulators come aboard and can skew things for a few days or so, but usually reason wins out and reason is based on what the company does or doesn't do.

True longs should understand that better than anyone else. Some of the sentiment from them is puzzling to me. It may be that some really do believe that longs 'control' the stock price. Well, maybe not as many as believed it a week ago. A nearly locked float is great when expectations are met and horrible when they aren't.
