It’s in case studies, and refers to an ages old relationship with MaxD, that has been referenced in MaxD’s 10k/10qs every year for 4 years. In 2016 MaxD said they would have a product demo by Q3 2017. In 2017, most recently, they said they would have a demo by Q2 2018. They have also announced licensing deals with cell phone manufacturers but those went nowhere.

But you seem hooked on the sound encryption patent, patent pending since 2014, and granted last spring. Can you tell us more about a product they have developed in the last 4 years? I am unaware of one, none having ever been revealed by MaxD in any press release, marketing materials, or filings - including the most recent one.

The footer of most webpages, including Qualcomm's, are programmed to show the current year, regardless of what content is displayed or when that content was made.

People who were around at the time (as well as those who know enough about technology to know the dates when specific hardware was released) know that the "MAXD Case Study" was actually written & publicized in 2014.

For those who are skeptical: you can click some of the embedded links and see that they lead to long discontinued products from Qualcomm.

As for whether links to discontinued products are "relevant" as you say... that's up to individual taste I suppose :)

Not sure what your education level is but I learned in school that at the bottom of any webpage there will be a date letting you know when the last time the webpage was updated. At the bottom of that page it says it the was last updated in 2018.....I copied and pasted it below....so if this an article was written in Jan 2016, it is still relevant because QUALCOMM left it on their page after the recent 2018 update........
