Thank you Bio for that wonderful post and to many others who have contributed to the positive message of Anavexs' mission. With Dr. Misslings 20+ years of experience in Biotechs mergers and acquisitions/banking I doubt he is naive to the underworld of funding of the industry, in fact just the opposite and contrary to what many here proclaim. He has put us in the position of strength with limited dilutive shareholder funding and multiple 3rd party partnerships. Ignore the white noise and clairvoyant charlatans professing the pending doom ahead of a 400 point drop in the overall market...... real rocket science! I am totally at piece with Dr. Missling, the BOD, and the Scientific Advisory Board's game plan to manage the creation and implementation of precision clinical trials of the 21rst Century Cures Act.

Happy Easter to all and God Bless!

Great post. I hope you’re right.

I can’t see this going much lower with all of our IP and data. We are so close to starting a trial. The SP will rise on that alone. Selling now is a mistake.

I have been here too long to not to see this through. Our future will be a lot clearer in short order. There is no doubt higher share prices are around the corner.

The silence is painful. Let’s see if the end justifies the means.

An elegantly framed and insightful perspective. It is important to realize as you stated that as shareholders we are just one class of overlapping 'stakeholders.' These other stakeholders have more 'skin' in the game than us. For us that realize this, it is an added incentive to the mercenary relationship we have with Anavex.

We as shareholders owe just a few legal duties to Anavex and can leave, come back, switch sides and go short at will.

Anavex owes us the shareholders a very well defined and extensive legally defined set of duties especially as a fully reporting NASDAQ publically traded company, but no more. No hand holding, no 'fireside chats', or status reports beyond quarterly and annual reports, 8K material event reports, Form 4s and other legally required disclosures.

The bitterness and trepidation real or feined is palpable but likely unfounded, an emotional reaction to uncontrollable market forces. Anavex is only one little Company in a Universe of investment opportunities so interest will wax and wane between different investments, therefore, share prices will be volatile.

We will get news when we get it. Period.

One can vote for the current BOD that is happy to have retail shareholders or one can try to vote them out whereby ones retail interest might be subject to a bid to go private just before the ship comes in.

There is a big push to vote against the BOD by some with questionable actual share interest. Think about it!

Long Anavex, Long Anavex Management and will vote yes on all BODs

Dr Liar is not fighting any war, he cannot deliver period. 3 trial by 2017 he maintained that narrative till Dec 11, then he changed his tune to Rett trial any time, first quarter of 2018 over still no news on Rett. Liar is trying to pump stock with his false promise and tiny buy of shares, basically he want to tap LPC as much as possible and quickly. Bio markers, precision trial, FDA delay all are hogwash.

What a thoughtful, well presented, articulate and meaningful post.

Unfortunately the smell of success on the battlefield usu. comes with casualties, injures a few frontline responders and is not without some wavering of those engaged. God bless those engaged and committed to the cause.

Big words - long write up - not much to it

M is not capable of fighting long wars - he is not handling battles well

He has not kept moral of the investors high - no one is interested in his strategy as he lacks communication skills - the lack of interest is seen in AVXL SP - it is clearly sinking ship with big holes at the bottom - he is not able to close those holes

Right on, Bio! Thank you for the well worded and thoughtful piece.

Too many longs don't understand that "Business is War" and that the naysayers know this and are following those rules of war, which means anything goes as long as your side defeats and crushes the opponent.

Thanks for the encouraging support.

Biostock..."

I think all the preclinical data being revealed as to sigma 1 r agonism restoring cell function and achieving homeostasis in a multitude of indications is a warning bomb and a big stick. I think the absence of data contradicting this or showing adverse effects means the big stick is made of strong wood which won’t splinter easily...when the time comes to use it

Bios...thanks for an excellent leadership post. The key points for me are as far as we know the science is real. There is still no contradictory scientific thesis. You make the point that Dr. M. cannot provide details b/c the size and strength of the opposition is too much to defeat head on. I had not considered that before and it is a legitimate point. Avoiding death in the military varies day to day but you better act like it is constant ,"act like a dead man".

The flaw in the comparison is why Mattis was/is such an effective leader.

LOSING the loyalty of your troops because of a lack of clarity
often creates a turmoil that no amount of might can overcome
in the ensuing battle.

I do not believe those of us who thoughtfully submit that the
decision about communication that Missling has made are at issue.

I hate to say Chicken Little because it really isn't the proper picture,
but how many times can your choice be viewed as questionable or
even accurate by the Market and still expect to be relevant?

No one seriously desires a daily blow by blow of Operational decisions.
There are MANY answers which while not definitive could be accepted as
explanatory. Follow that line and it too becomes suspect. If
the desire for the product of this company to succeed is the truism in all of this, a change of attitude to PROPER communication can ONLY help.
