One of the interpretation is that WMI gave up the equity interests of WMIIC which owned the income stream in participation interests of SPE Trusts. They will not be returned to WMILT for distribution to the final estate owners, but will be owned by WMIH. ????????

??? WHY would the 'Johnny-come-lately's', be entitled to the former Company assets?

When WMB was seized, WMI's equity interests in WMB were worthless, except for the NOLS they generated when abandoned.

WMMIC equity interests minus the assets contributed to the LT would also be worthless, using that same logic.
