Looks like it’s one of those companies that Huack should have been contacting during his 90 day blitz.

The contract seemed to have died on the table.

Unlike the other devices which do not require any approval from the FDA, Connextions tendon device is inserted into the body and requires trials and FDA approval, all of which takes a lot of time.
If the device itself is approved by the FDA, this will be significant.

Can't have a production contract until FDA approval. That is standard operating procedure and business 101.

What's the reason for the new spelling of Hauck's name?

Still moving forward I assume.

They were awarded 3.5 million last year March to take things to The next stage. This was awarded a couple days after our Liquidmetal 105 was approved for implants.

I assume there was a direct connection between the above two.

I have not heard anything else since.

One of their engineers came to the company I work for’s booth at the Pacific Design Show in Feb. (LQMT and Engel also at that show, as in previous years).
I specifically asked about this. He was excited, but had no timeline. He expects approval, but it is still ongoing.
I didn’t report this before, because I didn’t think it was any real news. But for those concerned this may have hit a dead end, as of Feb it was still proceeding.
