Exactly. Interesting speculation on the EHP IPO. It makes sense to consolidate Emerald's IP more, and has been discussed from the beginning of Emerald's takeover that they would look to recapitalize.
We all know Nemus is a long term play. Many of us feel it is a very undervalued compared to peers and IP comparisons. We might get significant appreciation at any time, but we might have to see how entering Phase 1 human trials in early 2019 play out.
Emerald has proven to be good stewards of capital and make solid alliances and partnerships. My investment here is due to that trust in them and their belief that Dr. Murphy has synthesized 50 years of institutional knowledge from the University of Mississippi.
Everything you said is possible. If the registration was necessary they certainly could have provided some commentary to provide transparency. Shares don't have to be registered to be transferred as far as I know. What I do know is that typically to transfer restricted stock between people/entities it has to be signed off on by the company (Nemus) and the transfer agent as they generally otherwise unsalable & nonassignable.
