First of all, Liquidmetal is not a broken clock. It is a slow clock which has been wrong all of the time, except for every 7 years when they change management.
Mistake-making companies are like a watch. The watch that does not run at all is right twice a day, but the watch that is slow is never right, and the company that does nothing at least will not make any fatal errors, while the company which usually does things wrong might as well be wrong all the time as far as any faith in him is concerned.
Second, Liquidmetal is only running one shift per day, 9 hours, so the likelihood of the clock being right before or after hours is hardly material.
It would be best that they run a military 24 hour clock.
