One other note that ties them a bit, they are co-assignees of the combo patent.

In short, the listed inventors were LP, LL, Prins, Ganjei and Bosch.

LP => NWBO and Cognate
Bosch => NWBO
LL/Prins => NIH (via UCLA)
Ganjei => NWBO and Revimune

The NIH is a formality for the most part. They do assert a legal right to any inventions coming from NIH funded sources, but I am not aware of this ever be used.

NWBO, Cognate and Revimune all share equally in the patent. They all have full use of the invention.
