Canada's federal government as well as Ontario and Quebec announced they are putting up half of a $400-million investment in 5G technology. The investment hopes to create 4,000 middle-class jobs. Andre Leduc, VP of Government Relations and Policy for the Information Technology Association of Canada, says this is a step in the right direction to making Canada a global competitor in the Internet of Things.
