That’s pretty much the truth about every corporation. The BOD generally represents blocks of shares.

It’s a technical legal point, but Li is not ‘Affiliated’ with LQMT.

He is the CEO. He is the ‘major’ shareholder. But he is not the ‘majority’ shareholder. For companies and entities to be considered ‘Affiliated’, they must have common ‘majority’ shareholders. When entities have the same ‘majority’ shareholder, their fates can be seen and expected to seen as intertwined.

There are different reporting standards.

NASDAQ investors prefer a company that appears to not have a ‘majority’ shareholder.

It’s a good thing.
