Johsnnyiwantsome.."as a train never backs up".......many years ago, I took a train trip on AMTRAK through Wyoming on the Empire run...It was dark when we pulled into this obscure town near Laramie, and the conductor let us off for about a 15 minute rest break and told us not to go into town and window shop, because the train would leave if you were not on board when the whistle blew to go on.. well, wouldn't ya know, some yahoo does go into town and missed the train departure time.. we travelled about one half hour, then the train stops, and starts to back up!!!! To our surprise, the conductor announces.. "folks, this is the first time in history that AMTRAK has backed a train to pick up a passenger...seems like too many complications to not go back and pick up this yahoo for the train company....LOL....Lodas
