UKS - I have a few questions to ask as we are heading into the launch for the NHS April 1st.

Have you noticed any PSA (public service announcement) about Actipatch? Usually when big launches happen, there is a lot of HYPE about the product ahead of time.

I have worked on several very successful PR campaigns. As we go into an event about 4 weeks out, we have all the interviews set well ahead of time. I'd also like to add that some of these interviews will change near the last minute. The point is that because all of the ground work has already been done, we'd already have a good idea if the event was going to be a success or not. Because we were doing 1 event per month, we got into a rhythym and we got better and better from each event (not mainstream sporting events).

I'm wondering how much TV, Newspaper and radio have been talking about or advertising the launch. Does NHS make any public announcement about this yet?

Without massive marketing exposure ahead of time, we're just hoping for another miracle. Just my 2 cents

Hey sausage - I see that the rolling annual items dispensed figure by NHS in the UK is around a billion or so items.

I’m going to speculate that it will take 100,000 ActiPatches to initially fill the pharmacy pipeline properly in the Uk and since NHS will profit by ActiPatch versus drugs, this is just the beginning!
