Well then, what other companies might like an electronic digitizer? FB? Google? Don't think for a second they are waiting for Apple to reign with no challenges. SPCL is now looking a little better to me than before. Especially since Texture was not all that and a bag of chips. IMHO.

Apple didn’t buy Pixel, because PixelMags isn’t on the chopping block. That only tells me the our sector is in the crosshairs of some massive global players. Period!!! I don’t think we are just sitting any more Avery. If anything Apple lit the fuse. Do you really think Apple’s competitors will take this one sitting down? I want to see a blank check tug a war between Apple’s competitors. It is getting very interesting these days I must say.

This plucking Pixel goose is sitting on a mountain of golden eggs, in my very humble opinion Baby!!!

Look at these frickin price Baby!!!

What it seems like to me, is Texture had Levin and or Zuckerberg, maybe even SnapChat all knocking on their door.
If we focused on the “young” tech minded entrepreneur.
But Apple may have been in discussions for some time.
Apple likely got wind of competition trying to get in 3 months ago.
Apple took the already established Texture brand and bought at the ask IMO.
The purchase price was undisclosed...
They paid a good penny for Texture IMO
Pixelmags works with the biggest. Hearst being one of them...
Hearst could be making double/triple time on Pixelmags now, after making bank on Texture.

The revenues with digital are showing now, New York Times digital subscriptions are up and revenue is up 10%...that’s big for these long time publishers.

35B dollar industry by 2020!!!

Pixelmags folks! Big time
