Really? Amazon went several years before making a profit. I know that's an extreme example, but profit is not the main factor for "most investors". Especially in OTC land where most companies do not make a profit, yet their share prices rise to all sorts of levels. And that's for primarily 2 reasons -- 1) many OTC companies are young and in their initial growth phase where expenses outweigh income or 2) most OTC companies are just pipe dreams and will never make money.

It's more about the story and the potential of the company in OTC land.

I don’t think “most” investors see it that way. Maybe you do and that’s fine if it’s your criteria for success...but why would you want to have net income to lose to taxes when you can grow the business and save money you’d otherwise burn on useless tax. You’d actually make LESS at the end of the day by booking more net income.
