I don’t know about being stale, it’s thier appearance I was talking about. Better in a can. My husband who’s a pot head saw the pics and said someone was smart to shave off the outer areas that have a lot of trychomes. Someone can use what you see and process it further. Or maybe they weren’t trimmed but instead have just been moved around a lot in those big bags and now have smoothed edges like river rocks get. I don’t know how it happened. It’s interesting though. What do you think?
