What is dumber? A master plan shared to give investors the GENERAL idea of how they plan to expand? (Massively expand, I may add). OR to complain that taking an opportunity and seizing it to capitalize on revenue and continue to increase interest, while still generally sticking to the master plan, is a stupid move?????

So they changed their plan? Is that the issue? Lol.

Their current plan as outlined in the PR is infinitely better than the previous franchising plan. Not that they aren't also going to franchise, but I have said all along I would much rather they have 10 or so corporate locations before they start franchising. IMO it is very important to control the S&L brand from top to bottom.

Btw ..they already sold the Hamilton and Waterloo franchises, just waiting for perfect locations.

In war, two concepts have been seen as related, but different.

These are: “strategy” and “plan”

The key difference between these concepts is that one deals with how one plans for the long term, while the other deals with how one deals with the problems that occur short term, in each battle.

This can be applied to AMFE. A long term plan was created and disclosed. In it, we see how Arizona was meant to be dealt with in wave 3.

However, that long term plan did not take into consideration that one investor would choose to fund the corporate location in its entirety. This changed the short term view of the plan.

The long term view is that S&L franchises will come in waves. And some locations have a higher priority than others.

This does not mean that some things may happen in the short term which will affect the order of said plan. If you want to view it mathematically:

1+2=3 just the same as 2+1=3

The order might have changed, but the outcome is the same.

More to the point, if this comes to pass, this could change the timeline of the outcome completely. Maybe AMFE only counted on having 1 new corporate location this year, and now they could possibly have 2. This could cause exponential growth in the years to come, since there is a huge difference between having 1 extra location bringing income vs having 2 extra locations bringing income.

Plans change. That's basic business 101. You develop the plans, work the plans and adjust accordingly. As a Senior Project Manager for a Fortune 50 company, this is the normal everyday business.
