We are working closely with both molding machine suppliers to finalize engineering design changes for improved operations, in support of expansion planned later next year. We have sufficient production capacity for the near term.
What does this mean? Working with Engel and LK to finalize engineering design changes for improved operations.
We have a big order coming in next year.
We have sufficient production capacity for now but we need an upgrade, which is in the process as we speak.
How do you take your coffee?
There’s more then one way to decipher someone’s wording.
MIM was an “add on”. It simply will not work without an oven. You can’t sell raw cookies.
Eontec machine is not perfect by any mean. It is far from “one step”. It is also sensitive to size. OH participants might have observed the “tarnish” output.
In comparison, Engel machine is simply “too slow” and “too small”. It is not clear it will ever be “one step” machine for all design. “Your mileage may vary” is noted in the design guide. While the “demo flag” is one step but the “knife” is not.
In the meanwhile, post processing step(s) is needed for both Eontec and Engel machine. Post processing is not fun due to superior property of BMG. Imagine try to polish “imperfect diamond”.
Long and tedious post processing steps must be replaced/removed before “true commercialization”.
In the short term, perhaps “coating” will be a better solution than “post processing”.
