To me there is only one simple question I would ask management. Do you really feel your company is worth 1.23 a share? If their answer is yes, then my vote would be yes. You can dance around all the facts and assumtion that we know so much less than managment, but to me this would be the only question I would need to ask them because the science speaks for itself.

In a phone conversation I had with Tom Newberry a couple of months ago I mentioned my concern about dilution and what sort of argument he would use to justify it. Now keep in mind I'm not quoting him but the general gist was that small biotechs have to get money when and where they can to survive. And that when one is going to hit a homerun (his analogy) with an investment he shouldn't be too concerned about dilution in the early stages. Afterall, he said, even Genentech increased their outstanding shares numerous times before the ball was hit out of the park. I don't think that he was proposing that our little company will become the next Genentech but that it will do very well over the long run. Now I believe that this LFB collaboration will turn into a really big deal down the road. I also think that GTC will have a number of Merrimack like deals or better in the not too distant future. I've got faith in this management team I'm voting yes to any share authorization. I'd also vote to put Dew, Norman Klein and Floblu on the board.
