I think it has more to do with the lack of any real good news lately. The only news has been mostly negative the past few months. It's started with the hearings with Ginnie mae CEO and all the negative talk during the (failed)Jumpstart 2.0 and Corkers "draft 29" and Benzinga... the upcoming draw.

Just enough to get those with weak knees to flinch.

None of the bad news mentioned above came from anyone who really matters. Mnuchin, Watt or Trump.

I'm long FNMA... and when I get my taxes back FMCC too.

Does 3month chart show "selling program"? So smooth and steady has been the slope down. Doesn't it almost seem like some huge holder of FNMA has told his broker to start a selling program, to not dump it all at once, to just slowly get out of this ticker without causing any panic among other shareholders?
I'm worried that's what appears to be going on.
