Something big will happen today, I'm not confident what exactly that is quite yet

fwiw, both SPY & AAPL daily charts in multiday bull flags
with rising MACD/Awe and neutral ADX.
suggests possible rallies into next week.

SPY daily sma20 has been roughly R,
daily ema9 roughly S.
a break over/under either could signal a move next week.

as for today,
SPY OI is scattered wide, but suggests ~273 pin?

mathematical full spectrum max pain is 272 today:

and then move higher next week.
