At the risk of butting in.....anyone who has held VTSI since about the middle of 2010 has roughly matched the performance of the S&P 500.

From 70cents in mid-2010 to 2.30 today is a 16% annual rate of return.

This is the case even though the company has outperformed the average S&P 500 company.

And obviously one's ror could be much better OR much worse depending on your specific buy points.
