The sale may or may not was going to happen on the 12th. The court was going to hear what the trustee had to say and then rule on it probably at a later date.
I don't have Pacer, but I'm puzzled on what exactly document 76 is. Was that an order granting the sale of the IP on Jan 11th, thus negating the need for the hearing? Can you read the full document? Linda is no longer talking to me.
