No, they said it is based on the android 8 OS. Basically its GMO. LOL. Its going to rund ontop of android base. That is what Cyanogenmod was so successful at. Its plausible that the developers of Cyanogenmod and the Ubuntu Touch may have in some way inspired the creative thought processes of the Utopya creators. They may not be the same developers, but who knows. My point is that I can see how it has inspired thia company.
