Though Chanbond was not mentioned by name,Cisco referred to the case in the same quarter. It was not mentioned in the legal section of their financials, there was a note referring to additional legal cases at the end of the legal section referring to the first page of the notes section, however, it was buried in the notes - that they MAY have to hold the cable companies harmless and they may not be able to secure licensing going forward. If Arris put it in their financials, their auditors would have requested a copy of the agreement.
I'll dig it up later this evening. But the big question in my mind is do the cable companies have to lose at trial or will they be held harmless if they agree to settle out of court.
