Strange, indeed. But given the huge change in market complexion, I'm thinking we won't be improved by trying to understand all the dust in the air. Early this morning I looked at Yahoo! only to find the $15.65 closing figure, same as at Ameritrade. And no after hours activity save for NGL dropping another dime---but not shown at Ameritrade.
However, while we know there's no Saturday trading, Ameritrade is showing a 29 cent gain for NGL today! I'm thinking a clerk may have flubbed and is posting the addition (preemptively) of the distribution---not at 39 cents but at 29. And my primary account with more than half of my NGL holdings is showing a +$8,265 gain for today (Saturday). I'm thinking we're seeing distribution files stuck mid-air in Wall Street machinery and it's probably nothing more than this.
Still, I'm glad you're watching things carefully and attempting to reason things out. It's great, knowing there's a bunch of us working together.
And on that note I want to also thank srains, harkmi among others for their positing NGL buys---unit and pricing numbers both. This back-and-forth stuff is often very useful. Srains acknowledgement of having added in the closing minutes sure got my attention. I'd just gotten off the stationary bike and must have been in lala land but his post was all it took to move me to add 500 units. I'm grateful as I know these units will prove quite profitable and I'm pleased to have gotten the trade.
And pete807 has been spectacular! He's posting relevant news on a number of our key picks. He and I live in the same time zone but his fussy attention to detail as in making sure we all see the important news feeds tells me he's in the groove as in wanting all of us to benefit from our board experience.
It says so much about his character, I could not be more appreciative.
We have quite a fine group here. I am humbled.
