It is not unusual for any parent company that is publically traded to also have private subsidiary/s. The presence of a subsidiary/s for any company is not in and of itself a red flag by any means imo. In the case of BSTN, I expect that time will answer many of the questions being posted here.

I definitely understand that it sucks to sell at a loss. I also understand that it can get scary when pps is dropping. It will take time to know if you made the right decision or not, but the decision was made. The best advice I got from my friend and mentor, who introduced me to the stock market, was “you can never look back” That was really hard to put into practice, but it’s liberating when you do.
