Yeah hap, FDR sure messed up the economy and the country. But some, including me, feel that he saved it from the ravages of laissez-faire economics which had occured repeatedly over the years: banks closing, Americans losing their life savings, their homes, families broken up, hopes shattered, 25% unemployment, older folks losing money to retire and live with dignity and on and on and on. I thank FDR and all those other bleeding heart LIBERALS.
