Besides granting Delfin permission to move ahead with the onshore facilities tied to the offshore export terminal project, FERC also gave the green light to High Island Offshore System, owned by Genesis Energy, to remove from interstate service certain offshore facilities, including a pipeline and a platform, and use those facilities to serve Delfin.
I read where Genesis is adding a 700' section to UTOS. To if will be in their next K report. I read the entire last K for a value placed on HIOS, nothing! But it moved a butt load of gas. Probably took pressure off to get to the oil below. I see it as a dead asset and they should be kissing Delfin's butt. It makes a great port for our ships. Wish Fairwood purchased it.
