Kentucky H.S. shooting leaves one dead, half-dozen wounded
One person was killed and at least a half-dozen others were wounded Tuesday in a shooting at a Kentucky high school, the state police reported.
Marshall County High School in Benton was on lockdown and a suspect was in custody as paramedics tended to the injured and wounded, officials said.
Greg Rodgers, 17, a junior, told NBC News that when he arrived he saw students racing out of the building. "I pulled off to the side of the road because everyone was running to the main road," he said. "I asked my friend what was going on and he told me that there was a school shooting. I was shocked."
