There does appear that there are 2 sides to this. It's great that we can entertain both and debate them. Who knows, maybe the concept that there is naturally existing hydrocarbons outside of fossil fuels that is the "New Energy" prophesied that makes Israel and America the primary source of hydrocarbons to the world.
If such a source were to be tapped into, it would change everything. Of course, with Him all things are possible, He is our source. Perhaps non fossil fuel hydrocarbons can exist under higher temps and pressures. If their existence is proven and tapped, it may be a type of hydrocarbon that powers but does not pollute. It could be a hydrocarbon of higher refinement and deliver a multiple of energy when compared to fossil fuels. That would turn the world of Oil and Gas production on its ear.
Who knows the plans He has in STORE for His people? Jeremiah does ;-).
