#131828 RE: WebSlinger #131825

this is from an april 2017 pr..."Over the next month the Company plans to supply the Army with sample single filament Dragon Silk fibers for independent testing and to have the first batch of finished Dragon Silk thread ready for knitting into Ballistic shootpacks. The Company anticipates completing the additional silk necessary for producing the woven shootpacks for the US Army in the third quarter. This newly installed equipment is expected to play an important role in meeting this new timeline."

in May kim announces that he sent the army the fiber..in august, the army announces that they will award the second phase of the contract..in sept, kim kicks csc to the curb..

the fiber that kim says he was going to send to warwick so they could knit shootpacks was never heard about again..as far as I can tell..
maybe that was because it wasn't sent, warwick didn't make anything with it or they did and it doesn't really matter since the army was never going to do anything with a knit product anyway..at least not for ballistic purposes..

who knows..at any rate it seems to me that kim would have received some kind of assurances or some indication that the army is very very pleased with their results from testing the fiber...

I mean, kim got rid of csc when it really wasn't necessary to do so since he isn't required to obtain financing from them..why cut loose your lifeline?..

maybe the army told them to get rid of those scumbags (oh wait..i mean UNDERWRITERS..lol..that still cracks me up)..

at any rate the fiber was delivered to warwick in the third quarter and kim estimated (or more likely hoped) warwick would deliver the shootpacks by dec 31...

i have no idea if the shootpacks were delivered or not..but those shootpacks were made of ds...im guessing the army still wants them but I'm not sure how important they are now since the army now wants kblb to produce shootpacks out of custom fiber..in other words, something better than ds..or more accurately, something better, for their needs, other than ds..
