I agree with kabunushi.

I find all of the speculation about when news is coming out and the near constant suggestions that news will be coming out soon or by a certain date or conference to be pointless at best and extremely damaging at worst.

It seems to be very similar to a situation in which people are kidnapped or held hostage. It is important to maintain the belief that you will be freed/rescued/escape and that is a key to coping and surviving but those who crack are the ones who set dates or deadlines only to be continually disappointed.

In this context, I think it is important to maintain a positive attitude as to where things are going while watching for signs that things are no longer on track. However, it is equally important to allow things to play out in their own time.

I only really got interested in this stock about a year ago, so happily for me I was not only able to buy it on the cheap but I have not had to watch the price decline for many years. Still, it seemed last Spring that the end was drawing near and in a matter of months we would know the results. I found it mentally disruptive waiting and getting no word. So over the last 6-7 months I have tried to be much more laid back and just let things progress. It has greatly reduced my own anxiety.

I get that people would love to get updates but the thing is, those have a nasty habit of coming back to haunt the company. I would be willing to bet that last May the company thought that they would be able to publish something long before now. But things always take a lot longer than you expect and all sorts of unforeseen events occur.

Ultimately, I am not going to buy more NWBO stock because my position is already as large as I am comfortable with for this type of stock. And I would only be likely to sell if I felt the company was in real danger of failing or if the price went up significantly as a result of top-line results or approval. Any interim news is nice but unnecessary as far as I am concerned. Just as the rise in stock price is nice but ultimately irrelevant.
