I thought calling shareholders was also strange (it's never happened to me in 20 years...), but a quick search of the internet shows that it's become more common over the years, especially as we move from the mailed paper prospectus to digital ones. And there are firms that specialize in this, so it's not like Linda and Les are working the phone bank themselves. Why they contracted with such a firm is a question. They've never done it before and I don't they they've ever shown a high regard for timely and accurate communication with shareholders before. Perhaps there are invisible forces directing them? Perhaps it's a trial run to get out the vote for a more critical vote they see coming down the tracks?
As always, a total lack of communication - and Northwest Bio is the perfect black box for us to pin our hopes, dreams and worst fears upon.
